New speakers are the biggest single improvement you can make to how a vehicle sounds. We sell Alpine, JL Audio and Focal, install them in-house at 5353 N Keystone Ave, and tune the result the way we have since 1973.
Start with the speakers, not the deck
Factory speakers are built to a price, and it shows the first time you turn the volume past halfway. The cones are light, the magnets are small, and the sound goes thin and harsh exactly when you want it to open up. Swapping them for a proper set changes the character of the whole system, even if you never touch the factory radio.
So when someone walks in asking where to start, our answer is usually speakers first. A better head unit or an amplifier makes a good set of speakers better. Nothing makes a worn factory speaker good.
We have been doing this at 5353 N Keystone Ave since 1973, and every install is done in-house by our own techs: no mall kiosks, no mobile vans, no send-it-out.
Two ways to build it
Coaxial for simplicity, components for the last word in detail. Both done properly.
Coaxial Sets
The tweeter sits in the middle of the woofer, so one speaker drops into each factory location. The simplest upgrade there is, and a big step up from stock.
Component Sets
Tweeter and woofer are separate, joined by a crossover. More install work, better detail, and a soundstage that sits up on the dash where it belongs.
Fit Done Right
Most doors take a 6.5 inch or a 6x9, but vehicles vary, and baffles, brackets and wiring adapters are part of the job. We confirm what your doors take before anything is ordered.
Alpine, JL Audio and Focal: pick with your ears
We are an authorized dealer for all three, and we keep them playing in the showroom because they genuinely sound different. Focal leans analytical and detailed, with crisp airy highs and bass that stays tight and musical. JL Audio runs rich, warm and punchy, with the low-end authority the brand is famous for. Alpine is loud, fun and dynamic, and nobody integrates with a modern dash better.
There is no wrong answer between them, which is exactly why we tell people to bring their own music and listen side by side before spending anything. Five minutes with your own playlist settles what a spec sheet never will.

Match the set
Coaxial or component, sized to your vehicle and matched to the power that will drive it.
Fit and wire
Baffles, brackets and adapters as the vehicle needs, wired cleanly. Door panels go back on the way they came off.
Deaden the doors
Damping material where it counts, so the door stops rattling along with the music and the speaker works against a solid surface.
Measure and tune
We tune with measurement equipment, not by ear, then play your music before you drive off.
When to add an amplifier and a subwoofer
New speakers on factory power is a real upgrade, and for plenty of people it is enough. But better speakers show up the limits of built-in power sooner, so if you like it loud and clean, an amplifier is the next honest step.
The last piece is the low end. Door speakers are not built to reach the bottom octave, and asking them to try is how systems end up sounding strained. A subwoofer with a matched amplifier takes that job over, and everything above it relaxes.
Something rattling, crackling or gone quiet?
Not every speaker problem needs new speakers. A single dead or crackling channel is more often wiring, a connector or one failed driver, and we diagnose that before recommending anything, including on systems we did not install and gear we did not sell.

Common questions
Will new speakers work with my factory head unit?
Yes. Most speaker upgrades run on factory power, and that alone is a clear improvement. If you keep the factory radio and want more from the system later, a compact amplifier or a DSP can be added without touching the dash.
What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A coaxial builds the tweeter into the middle of the woofer, so one piece drops into each factory location. A component set separates them and adds a crossover, which takes more install work but rewards you with better detail and a soundstage that sits up at dash height instead of at your ankles.
Which speaker brands do you carry?
